Or update your cpu
What’s your specs anyways
Designed to run on a PS5 and is an open world game. Yeah, the requirements are gonna be higher than you might expect them to be.

'looks like ps3' Meanwhile it's ps4 era graphics.
Even that aside:
You are complaining about CPU, as if that in any way reflects graphics. I guarantee you even a multi-thread modded Dwarf fortress, a game with ascii tiles, will eventually bring a 9800x3D to it's knees. Graphics have little to do with cpu requirements. They are different bottlenecks and have different solutions because they come from different sources.
I don't get why people complain about requirements. We're quite a ways into this generation and people refuse to understand how important the cpu is now.

graphics hardly even related to cpu in videogames

and even if I am completely wrong

Store page says: Intel Core i5-10600K or better

i5 10600 is like 140$ which is pretty cheap, I've got mine i9 11900 in november for 260$, which is also pretty cheap, especially for EU and USA

Uhm.. no? AMD Ryzen 5 1600 is from 2017.

At least you dont need an RTX card. Meanwhile DOOM Dark Ages won't be playable without RTX. Be GLAD about the PC Specs requirement, they're not that high.

This will be a bad PC port 100%.

If you have a potato pc of course it will be bad but if you have anything in the last two generations you’ll be fine.

Can you name last KT games that were "fine" in terms of optimization?

Well I can only speak on my experiences but they ran well for me with my previous specs and even better now with my current build.

The niohs, WL, even the new dynasty warriors runs fine.

The only issue with WL I had was it was not as interesting as the niohs.

Even Nioh had problems. You can go to forums and search for slow-mo. WL was a mess as well. DWO is better in terms of performance but you can still find problems with stuttering and fps drops during cutscenes. Taking in account graphic's level and that it's not an open world games.

So if graphics don't affect CPU then what does this game do that needs a 10400?

10400 can run AC Odyssey at 100fps.

Because the game doesn't do anything new tech wise. Ghost of Tsushima min cpu req is I3 7100

Except the combat system, and thus the combat logic flow is much more complex in this game than in was in ghosts of tsuishima, meaning interactions with npcs of all sorts are a bit heavier.
