Btw, for me Wo Long is mostly fix since the first DLC and completely fix since the second DLC I believe
Nioh1-2 are extremely well optimised
Wolong and sop was day1 pc port so thats why they are unoptimised
I haven't play Wild Heart but I can say that DW origin that work perfectly fine for me. Maybe they learned ?
Can't say for Nioh 1 but for Nioh 2, I remember to put aside the game for 1-2 month before they fix the performance.
DW9 which develop by Katana engine which worst DW in series, from core gameplay to performance
DW Origin which develop by Unreal Engine 5, so with the new-famous-easy to use engine, their game was fixed, maybe
But this Rise of the Ronin was develop by Katana engine and same time to Wild Hearts, Wo Long and exclusive to console a year ago, now it come to Steam for PC players, not sure how it work, worry more
errr, DWO is fully developed using Katana engine.
I got DoA Venus Vacation Prism and waiting to test it bc I heard it made from Unreal Engine 5
It's a wait and see. That is for sure.
Venus Vacation is also developed using Katana Engine but it seems like they're doing some tinkering to match the prowess of Soft Engine. You can literally do few seconds of search to get the correct information.
Nioh 1 & 2 were not so bad performance-wise, then somehow they lost the plot with optimisation after Wo Long came out.
I'm hoping for the best, preparing for the worst.
Wild hearts was not Team Ninja btw lol. Overal Team Ninja Ports are not terrible for smooth 60fps gaming, but after Nioh 2 every game has had issues with anything above 60fps due to frame pacing issues.
However the good thing is that Nioh 2 was the LAST TN game that was release long after the console version and that game (sith some issues) was the best optimnized. Wo Long and Strangers was released simultaneously as consoles so optimization for PC did not get as much love.
Now that RoTR has has nearly a year alone for the PC port I am pretty confident the game will release in a good/optimized state.
