aterlier is way to niche to be considered competition.

As for AC Shadows think the game is already viewed very negatively by most people and it is not even out yet! I think if anything AC should be concerned that Rise will drink it's milkshake.

I'll sooner forget there was a new AC game in 2025.

Monster Hunter will be released like 10 days prior. I don't like the franchise at all but it aims at the same population of player and it's quite objectively the biggest release of Q1 period!

I see Khazan and Ai limit as inferior products to Rise of the Ronin but they also target the same population and comes out like 10 days after.

Pretty tough month to get your game out. It's going to be buried.

tbh it's a port of the game who was already forgotten by many at the release date. It's probably interesting just for guys like me who like japanese culture and somewhat likes team ninja games, period. may be they even gave up on their own product, who knows.

this entire year will be insane for gaming, I'm pretty sure that no matter when it releases it will have some big competition

Personally I don't care about monster hunter, especially after I ran the benchmark and saw horrible performance. And I'll play both this and Khazan.

I mean, what competition? The only game launching particularly near them is Ubislop's newest title, and truth be told... I'm probably going to buy this game just to spite those jerks. Team Ninja cares about Japanese culture. AC: Shadows is an utter disgrace. Utterly revolting.

according to Koei Tecmo official documents Ronin sold on PS5 around 1.3 mil units. Nioh games sold 8 mil units.
