I don't have enough VRAM?

I've never had this problem with any other game in my library. How do I know if my VRAM is enough? I checked the Task Manager and I don't really know what I'm supposed to be looking at.

You can check your VRAM usage in the in-game graphics setting menu.

It won't even get to the setting. It just starts, loads a bit, crashes because of the VRAM not being enough.

8 Dediucated GPU Memory with .9 being in use.
15.9 shared GPU memory

Do you have a config.xml file in the following path?
Maybe try to set resolution to something like <SCR_REZ>1280x720</SCR_REZ>
C:\Users\YourName\Documents\KoeiTecmo\Ronin\config.xml

What is telling you that you don't have enough vram? You have enough to run the game with that card.

According to the error I don't have it. It pops up and turns the game off after I press "ok".

You may need to reinstall drivers then, I have the same card and not having that issue.

That's bizarre. You have 8gb of VRAM which is plenty for this game on its mid settings. You have 16gb of system ram as well - again, plenty for this game on its mid settings. Try updating your drivers from nvidia's site. It may be misreporting the amount of VRAM your card has to the game.

I already updated my drivers. I make it a habit to check for new drivers every time I grab a game with some higher setting requirements.

Do you have an integrated graphics card that's part of your motherboard? If so, you may have to disable it. It would show up as a second graphics card.

New update. I verified the integrity of the files and now the game just crashes without any sort of error on a black screen.
