this is about the extent of mods on the katana engine
https://www.nexusmods.com/wolongfallendynasty/mods?BH=0
2 pages of mostly character codes and some cheats
I don't know if something like that could be fixed with a mod, it's just something I wish the game still had.
B)It took decade to reverse engineere fueled by hordes of diehard end of the spectrum autistic fans of the series.
KT/TN games simply do not pull same crowd and not in numbers enough to have same ongoing effort. Some people on Xentax made tools for baseline unpacking of the engine, realized it's an inbred spaghetti monster of an engine with more chromosomes than 64 bit architecture can safely hold in memory and gave up on developing those tools to repacking, much less usable GUI stages.
So yeah, no - not gonna happen anytime soon.
Nioh 2 IS Katana Engine my friend...
it's just an older version.
Mods will come soon enough. the basic ones, like clothes removing etc...
Here's the spooky thing, though: Dynasty Warriors Origins uses this engine and that game runs exceptionally well, so there IS a revision of this engine out there that isn't ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.
