SBI? DEI? — Answers. And, credit where it’s due.

Question:
1. What is SBI?
*Sweet Baby Inc. A narrative development company, which is hired to aid in flushing out scripts. Their goal is inclusivity of “marginalized groups”. Known to both woke and anti-woke groups for subpar media. Known to some as overly political.
Suicide Squad being the main example given.*

*Conservative ideologists dislike this company for its “woke propaganda”. Alternatively, progressive ideologists dislike this company because the CEO, and employees, have released tweets deemed both ‘racist’ and ‘homophonic’ by many commenters. And, those who lack an opinion are dissatisfied with dialogue quality displayed by this company.*

2. What is DEI?
*Diversity, equity, and inclusion(?)
It seems to be a political group/movement, most examples being for work environments. *
*It seems to be a word which many use to describe actions they perceive as “woke”.*

3. Why are we all angry about this?
(And don’t say the flag, both sides of that specific coin are angry about these topics. So, it’s not that.)

I’m a bit out of the loop, and usually sit on a game for a year or five before I bother buying. This, Metro, and that hinted Mass Effects were going to be the exceptions.

I understand sitting on this game and waiting for Undead-Labs to fix the issues they inevitably leave in (if they didn’t learn from SOD2) will be advised — but why the current reaction?

Is it politics? Ideology? Poor dialogue? Poor quality/execution? Did SBI do something?

*All of the above, as far as I have seen. Add a comment if there is anything else. Nonsense really. It’s being made by the same people who brought us 2. It will be just as fun as the first time, people are just doom and glooming.*

ADDITION:
This game is being made by the same undead-labs team who made and have been updating the heck out of 2. They deserve some credit! This game shouldn’t be nearly as bad as y’all are spouting. They’ve done a pretty good job keeping that game alive and healthy, and for their part are fairly consistent in big-fixes. This game will be fine!

The whole "woke" thing is about a gritty flag that was in the corner of a video in a collection of items from past survivors. They're all up in arms because of something that doesn't mean anything.
