Soft locked my save by exiting to title screen.

I reached the part where Grethe asks Fortuna to help her with the ritual to deal with the Behemoth. Just then I realized I was too short on Fire energy to get Abramar's help, since I had just crafted a new card. At this point I exited back to the title screen and loaded back in, to find that the game had saved the new card, but now Grethe's letter wasn't there.

It seems like the only way to force the letter to show up again would be to craft a new card, but I don't have enough energy for that, even after going through all the interactive fictions. No matter how much I sleep the letter does not show up, either.

At this point I'm pretty sure I'll have to start over, but I'd love to be proven wrong.

I had to use cheat engine IIRC, and adjusted the values. They haven't fixed this yet?

They have not fixed it yet, I got stuck at this part at have found no way to fix it. COuld you share the cheat engine IIRC procedure?

You use a program called Cheat Engine. Do a search for the value of your fire energy, change the value in the game, search for the changed value in Cheat Engine, narrow it down to the specific memory address(es), and then change the value to whatever you like.

It's not an ideal solution at all.

I would have 0 problems using cheat engine for that, but I do not understand how having more red energy would solve the soft lock, as I already did not receive help from Abramar. After adquiring more red energy how do I solve the lock?

It is very frustating, I was really enjoying the game but I am receiving 0 solutions from the developers.
