Game windowed itself

I was playing in fullscreen mode, closed my laptop to go do some stuff for like 15-20 minutes and when I came back the game had gone from fullscreen to windowed but isn't letting me move the cursor all around the screen? It's like there's a box about half the size in the middle that it wont let my cursor out of, I can't even try to apply changes to the settings or quit out of the game in the menu. Idk if it's because I left it open and my laptop went into sleep mode or something but no other game I have has done this before.

I'm in the full version of the game and I've encountered this exact same issue. I'm on a desktop windows PC, my HD monitor went to sleep, when I woke it back up the game had windowed itself and the cursor acted the same way as the OP described. The in-game cursor acted like it's stuck inside a bounding box that made it all but useless. I couldn't even hit apply in the settings window because the cursor wouldn't move over there. Even worse, my computer cursor wasn't bound to the windowed game, so it would sorta work, and sorta not work.

I am also experiencing this issue. It happens when I Alt+Tab as well, which makes the game really hard to play full screen.

i have the same problem, even after restarting the game... it "flickers" into fullscreen for a splitsecond, but then becomes windowed and I can'tmove the cursor properly inside the window, same with the settings I can't change anymore.

Same issue here and I can't figure out a way to fix it. Tried re-installing the game thinkin that would help but alas.

you can try windowed mode: left Alt + Enter

I have exactly the same problem here, the fullscreen stays the size of the windowed mode but the cursor is bounded too

Yes. Like forestfey mentioned, you can Alt + Enter to create windowed mode which in my case fixed the cursor. And with a fixed cursor you can enter the menue and get back to fullscreen mode.
