(spoilers) Some events carry over between games

I've really been enjoying the game, but I just wanted to let y'all know. If you restart using the card reading at the very end of the game where it asks you if you are satisfied, certain things carry over from the previous game. I don't know if it happens when you have a whole different save slot. Specifically the things I noticed were:

• The ending cut scene doesn't recognize if you chose a different thing to give up. I chose immortality the first time and coven the second, but I still got the immortality ending after paying the price.
  
• When the witch demonstrates her immunity to fate, it show the card that got destroyed the previous game when you bring it back using the power ability. Still returns the correct card, I actually thought it was feature until I realized that lol.
  
• I think I saw the option to learn the witches language even though I had the power ability the second time instead of the knowledge.
  
  Hopefully I'm not forgetting any of them. The main thing is just the ending not changing is a huge bummer because I wanted to see the other endings. I may be forgetting some other minor things that carry over. I'll try it again with a completely new save slot tomorrow (or maybe later tonight cuz I'm a little addicted.) to see if I can get the other endings that way.

I had similar experience, along with the gift I've chosen, Dahlia's fate, whether I've cheated at the elections- also, I've had double the Peppermancers during the election phase, as I had her from the beginning and then she came to join us the second time (resulting in a crash at the end of elections).

It seems like flags aren't getting cleared between replays.

Hello, and thanks for the reports. Just for clarity, those are on the same save file, where you just reloaded the same playthrough? Not new playthroughs?

Yeah, I've selected the travel back to the beginning card in the end, turned off the game after the behemoth mocking me, and launched it today morning to continue on that save file, to do another playthrough.

Having same problem. Wanted to ask if there is anything special you can achieve on a restarted save file? Or should I just make a new save to get rest of endings?

Nothing special, just the issues you encountered would not be present.

Yes the same save file, when it asks if you want to restart at the end.

i selected "restart" at the end of game to choose another ending in the final clash (refuse to pay debt) and was disappointed it restarted the entire game and deleted my save :/ enjoyed my first run and the game btw !
