In my playthroug i read in cards that Abramar`s first lover don`t love him anymore, so he never speaks of her again. In the dialog with one of the witch i said that i really like him, he mentions it while we going to the council. And while we flying Fortuna and Abramar tell that they love each other. My choice was to sacrifice immortality. After Fortuna dies Abramar says that he would gladly live a million more lives with us and restarts the game
It was my first playthrough so i dunno maybe you knew it already haha sorry. Also sorry for my bad english
To be honest, after beating the game and talking about millions of lives and past loves, I even thought that Abramar’s past love was Fortune from a past life if that makes sense
He told me the same thing, and I sacrificed the coven, so :-]
I get the impression that the pursuit of Knowledge makes this path easier, since a surprise gift allows you to learn who his first love was.
There are too many options that would be awesome and not a single one other than Grethe. I don't usually cry over spilt microchips but when I tell you a tear glistened, I'm not lying.
Whaaat! I didn't get this ending and i chose to give up immortality too T_T
In one of my runs, I wanted to face a paradox: romance with Ábramar. I did everything I could to show you interest, I chose every dialogue option that was deep/flirty and even somewhat sexual (like when Fortuna comments that his body is sexy and everything). Did not work. Choosing romance, Grethe is the option. She becomes the most important person in Fortuna's life, and the price to pay if you choose "the life of the one I love most" (choosing romance, Patrice dies in a different way; choosing another objective, Patrice will be the price to pay in the life of the one I love most).
The paradox was a simple idea, but probably the reason romance with Ábramar was not possible. I wanted to choose romance and the life of the one I love most, and romance Ábramar to see what would happen. Obviously, it didn't work, and the reason must be — paradox. If Ábramar is the person Fortuna loves most and the price to pay for his power, collecting the debt will kill him. If he refuses to collect the debt, he will cease to exist (as is said at the end of the election, when he demands that Fortuna fulfill her side of the bargain).
He has already expressed that he loves Fortuna, but does not want to stop existing because of her. The existence of this price probably makes romancing Ábramar not possible so we don't cheat on him (even if some players do lol). Reinforcing, this is my opinion and idea as a player. But I really wish it were possible. I love Grethe, but I was trying to romance Dahlia when I started playing, lol. Other characters being romanceable is a really interesting idea.
