how is the kraken working ? can someone explaine to me

I encountered Kraken a few times in the game. One level is explicitly, the others he was just kind of around until he wasn't, until one specific Dive late in the game when it was a big focus.

Without spoiling, I shot the bastard in Dive 3, and then he decided it was time to send in the waves of sharks. So maybe avoid shooting it until you're ready for the end fight. Could just be a coincidence though.

Kraken hits hard, and I'm not sure if it cares when you flashbang it in the face. Avoidance is your best option unless you have no others.

I never saw him until dive 5 and I was intentionally looking for him before that.

The Kraken doesn't necessarily appear. He was around the plane for me at one point and I shot it because "♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ a giant monster", but it may be RNG or he may have just not been in a place you saw.

It gets more common down the road, to some extent. Couldn't tell you if there's RNG or not in the game, I'm just a dude who likes water.

I ended up encountering it very briefly in like mission 3 or 4? There were a ton of shipping containers and I thought I was following an eel or something through it and it turned out to be a retracting tentacle. Shot it twice with the speargun and it swam away in a flash

Encountered it again on the second airplane mission (where "something massive" was detected just sitting there waiting for me and unloaded on it by shooting once, panicedly swimming until reloading, and shooting again, rinse and repeat. I didn't end up killing it but if you get a good 5 or 6 shots in that seems to be enough to get it to jet off into the darkness

When Kraken appears he shoots redwhite darts which enrages all living thing against you. In order to finish diving you have to kill certain amount of creatures.

I thought the kraken wasn't scary at all. I could tell when he was coming. The sharks are scarier. Sometimes they just come out of nowhere and start attacking. And those stupid eels you sometimes can't see.
