Second Question : Defender 888 of course.
There are no words for that kind of behaviour from the developers.
Firstly Sniper game are not as popular as regular shooters. It's only faithful sniper gaming fans that kept the series going through SGW+game DLC, and SGW2+game DLC. I loved those games and expansions.
Plus some of us, myself included loved SGW3.
Our reward for keeping the franchise going by playing and talking about the games. For answering other users questions on the games and issues. (Working for no pay, helping the developers and publishers.) ---- £7.19 for one gun, that should be freely included in the game.
No game should have micro-transactions for weapons. None.
- 10 regular sniper bullet capacity. Usually enough to kill everything you need to kill before reloading. Takes 1 shot to the head or chest or 2 to limbs. Did plenty of double and even some rare triple kills at 1000+ meters with single bullet.
- Can use Explosive, EMP and AP ammo. You can upgrade the magazine so you got 2 special ammo.
- Can have a long-range Scope (Vortex Extreme Long Range) that allows you to see the teeth of your target at 1000+ meters. That long-range scope also has low magnification displacement. Even without adjustment on the rifle range, I can still headshot stuff at 1300m from manually setting the zoom back a bit and setting my target around the bottom of my scope.
- Can use a silencer.
It's main CON is that it's supposedly loud, but if you're using it (outside from a challenge) at a range where the enemies can hear you shoot it while suppressed, the problem is not the sniper's noise. I can kill stuff within that range with a suppressed pistol like the Prescot SR-9 just fine.
It's a bolt-action rifle, hence it does require good aim and good timing and good target choice, but that's basically the basics of long-medium ranged sniping, right? If you miss a shot, usually, you got barely enough time to shoot one other bullet at your target before said target has the time to alert all enemies. This also means that you can only hunt groups of 2 (unless you kill multiple with 1 bullet) when avoiding alarms.
