Save File Gone?

Twice now my file for Lemon Cake has gone missing. I don't know what the issue could be that is causing it. I haven't switched over to playing on another device or quit the game before the beginning of the next day. If anyone knows how to prevent my save file from going missing again I would really appreciate the help. I've reached level 11 now and really don't want to lose my progress again.

Just happened to me, I simply logged in and started my game to see my save file completely missing. I could understand maybe not saving that day. But why would the whole save file be missing and is there anyway to recover. I had gain a lot of ground and its kind of annoying to have to play through that, when I did nothing wrong.

Exactly what happened to me

I think I've managed to fix the problem. I right clicked on Lemon Cake under my library, clicked properties, and made a backup file of Lemon Cake. I haven't experienced the issue since then.

Thanks for the advice its something for the future, I just wish I had my game... I had the cats and my cows and chickens.
