While fun to start, the collection of potion ingredients quickly became more tedious than enjoyable. Otherwise, it was a cute game.

While the game was really fun at the very beginning, It feels more like a long demo or proof of concept with a handful of simple, repetitive mini-games that a kindergartener could complete. In its current state, I don't have the motivation to complete the game due to the unnecessary repetitiveness, undeveloped mechanics, and lack of scale in difficulty. I found myself feeling forced to get myself to the end of the main story content rather than feeling rewarded or enjoying myself.

I love the puzzle-y feel of the potion creation and the fact that you can create multiple solutions, but given that the forageables are extremely grindy - respawning the same place every day and only affording one item per harvest - it stops feeling fun quickly. The pixel art is really cute and I appreciate the size of the map and teleport checkpoints.

The romance-ables and other NPCs majorly lack depth, despite the multitude of cutscenes. The game doesn't feel fully fleshed out, but rather like an Early Access release. That being said, It's a shame, because the game has so much promise and I would love to try again if it were updated to feel like a completed game.

In its current state, I'd only recommend buying this game if it's on sale and you enjoy a simple cozy game that requires little thought. However, don't expect to get very many hours of play out at a time.
