Having to go to bed just to save is archaic and impractical. Quick-save and being able to do multiple manual saves for a character are pretty standard. I don't get why these farming sim/life sim games have to vehemently adhere to these old console mechanics. My Times at Sandrock was recently released and is currently in EA status. Guess what it has? Quick-save and being to create many manual saves that are saved under the characters you have.
I'm not sure what I'm supposed to do with the dog. It certainly won't help me fight.
Agreed on save button & would like keyboard + MOUSE support for pretty self-explanatory reasons.
The game takes inspiration from stardew valley no doubt but is more like "Little Shop in Squirrel Town" which was quite enjoyable.
Also the dog IS a little needy. But I grinded my fishing level to max to unlock the Intermediate fishing for the quest that I had like 80+ white meat to feed the dog with that it wasn't a big deal
as for the dog's usefulness, he can find villagers for you once his friendship is maxed (although it's not in the demo)
I don't mind the dog now that I have a healthy amount of mushrooms in my bag but the fact that I have to feed it more than my character does irk me.
As for the save thing, absolutely agree! We either need a Save option in the menu or we need to have the option to go up to the bed and select Save rather than sleep (or it could even be a book beside the bed, I don't care, just something).
