Steam Deck Demo Save File Troubleshooting
DISCLAIMER:
There have been some known issues regarding the game save file of Steam Deck users.
This troubleshooting guide is made specifically for Steam Deck users who have played our demo version before purchasing the full game.
Rest assured, PC & Mac users. Your demo save file is good to go & you can ignore this guide. :)

FIRST THINGS FIRST:
- Please disable Steam Cloud before doing anything.
- Do not install or run the full game before doing this. (There have been some cases where the demo save file got automatically deleted before running the full game.)

THE NEXT STEPS:

1. Go to Desktop Mode on your Steam Deck.

2. Go to home/.local/share/steam/steamapps/compatdata/1992330/pfx/drive_c/users/steamuser/AppData/LocalLow/MasshiveMedia/Potion Permit/

3. Copy the "Potion Permit" folder.

4. Make a backup of the "Potion Permit" folder. In case something goes wrong, your demo save file is safe inside that folder.

5. You can now install the full game safely.

6. Go to home/.local/share/steam/steamapps/compatdata/1337760/pfx/drive_c/users/steamuser/AppData/LocalLow/MasshiveMedia/Potion Permit/

7. Paste the "Potion Permit" folder (Delete the existing "Potion Permit" folder if you've already launched the game before)

8. Launch Potion Permit

9. You will be asked if you want to continue from your demo save file.

10. You can now enable Steam Cloud after saving once in the full game.
