How to get intermediate fishing rod?

I don't know what I am missing in the game and I am already level 1. reletionship with Leano and Ottmar. Also I am already on the snow island. So does someone know how to get the rod?

for me it happend while i was doing the first firendship quest for leano, though i cant tell the excact trigger....

I don't think the close value is related...because this person's close value is still only green and half a tube.

I believe that some people haven't watched the Bug Report because they haven't encountered any problems so they haven't been able to watch most of them.

It said 100 on the wiki. Not sure how up to date it is, because i got the quest after 40ish, and the quest for the advanced rod showed up right after. However when i go to the park no one is there, so this quest line may be broken.

If you want to get access to lvl 3 fishing you have to keep fishing untill + turns into ++ and then into MAX.
1st quest leads you to the park.
2nd quest leads you to the ship.
It took me 3-4h fishing to get the 2nd quest.
After completing 2nd quest you can go and get that fish for Lean romantic line.

Notice. For some reason, the 1st quest appears on the board after completion from time to time, however, it doesn't stop you from getting the 2nd.

I got my first quest when ++ turned into +.
++ is when your progress on fishing lvl is more than 50%, so the full path should be like
+ ++ 1st quest + ++ MAX 2nd quest

On a new day, go to the pirate ship. Then let's go find some more stuff.

You need to keep fishing untill quest appers on the board. Then go to the place it says. Complete it and you will get it.
If you dont understand what + and ++ is: it's the symbols, that appears above your character after you catch a fish.

Just keep fishing.

Once you have filled your fishing bar exp, it'll trigger an event (on the next day) which can be seen on the bulletin board.
