From the promotional videos and artwork I assume we will be able to play as a boy or a girl but will we be able to customize our character's appearance further similar to Stardew Valley or Story of Seasons games. For example can we change the skin colour, eye colour, hair colour and/or change clothes?

Yes, you can choose to play as a girl / boy and you can customize your characters.

Sorry for the late reply. Yes that looks exactly like what I was talking about - it looks really good - I hope there are some darker brown skin tones (since I didn't see them shown in the character customization clip). I'm really looking forward to this game now - love the mechanics.
