Did you figure out a solution ?
I found the devs support email and informed them of the issue we both had. Maybe they'll figure out something.
I'll post new info on this thread, maybe it'll be useful to others :/

However i don't know if the solution will be the same for you. You'll have to contact them and explain your problem, describe your VR platform, etc.
For me (Windows / Steam / Valve Index) the savefile was here C:\Users\"User_name"\AppData\Local\Maskmaker\Saved\SaveGames
