What is there to nerf? I don't think it's even comparable to Loader and Miner because Pilot uses it to keep his distance and not get one-shotted while Loader and Miner uses theirs in cycle to be able to go in and out the stack of enemies without dying. It's also not like Pilot is better than Loader or Miner either because of it.
Out of all the characters to have the bug Pilot has the best version, and they don't require anything specific to perform it like Loader. I'm not a developer, nor do I intend for my words to be taken seriously. In the end what I personally want is unrealistic, but it's fun to imagine them being more equal.
Although hypothetically if it were a choice between keeping the wavedash as is or completely removing it, then I'd MUCH RATHER they keep it in as is.
