Leech seed and Harvester Scythe don't heal Engineer with attacks just his turrets.

Is this a design choice or is it a bug? having trouble finding viable way to stay alive in the late game because his attacks won't heal him and the regeneration items can't keep up.

They don't with ALL of his attacks? The mines or missiles don't proc them as well?

Not sure last I played I was mainly paying attention to his primary attacks. The turrets get healed from shooting but not the main character on either of his attacks. Also that red item the drill thing that does a piercing attack every 4th hit doesn't work but it does on the turrets. It's weird that some things work on both turret and main dude but then others only work on the turrets.
