How to Get Laser Drones to Spawn

How in the world do you get these drones to spawn??? I've done at least 7 runs today on varying difficulties with different survivors, and literally none spawn. As of today, at least. The first few days I played this after release they seemed to appear with no issue. Is there some artifact or setting that affects this? I'm so confused and at my wit's end. Literally every other kind of drone spawns except Laser. Why...

IIRC the laser drones are usually the expensive ones that kind of look like the hilt of a sword that's buried in the ground. You can usually tell which drone is which, but the laser one specifically is kinda rare in my experience. Hope this helped

Pretty much rng, sometimes i got 2 laser drones before starting the loop, as for the third and last i had to keep looping for nearly 2h, if you are doing the beam drone engineer challenge you have to either keep looping till you have 3 laser drones and fuse them or try to reach the last level as fast as possible, that level has a chance to spawn a beam drone but the odds seems to be around 25% for that to happen. Also, running some artifacts such as Command and the one that makes enemies drop items will help you locate drones easier and faster.

I was able to encounter the laser drone approximately 3 times, and all of them were in the last stage, somewhere random around the map.
