Basic things you can do (that I do with every game that gives me hassle)
Make sure background processes like Gamebar Presence Writer or other non-necessary things are off. Some of these are known to cause little issues with games.
Set process to High priority, but not Real time
Go into Nvidia / AMD control panel and set power management to maximum performance and also set Texture Filtering - Quality to Performance or High Performance.
Turn on vsync/adaptive sync and see if it helps smooth out your experience.
Sometimes these actions help a lot more than they seem even for games that shouldn't need it.
Have tried changing auto-detect and playing with most other settings. FPS drops and sound stutters making it unplayable - just got done running RDR2 on ultra and can't run ROR lol
