worth it for solo?

only really play solo, is this worth it if i've never played RoR1? I like 2d roguelikes, i have 100%'d dead cells and hollow knight etc. Is this worth it or is it pretty hollow (heh) only on your own?

It's Worth It, They Are Not Lying

I only have played solo thus far, I have also have yet to do any of the new trials, I have over 250 hours in Risk of Rain 1 & I have played a lot of this game already, while my first run went terribly, my 2nd run on was amazingly well, but having known the game already, it's easy for me

It will seem challenging if you are new, lots of things to get used to, but once you get fundamentals down, things get easier over time, with knowledge, comes great strength

Yes, it's worth it for solo play. It's more doable playing solo this game (and RoR 1) than Risk of Rain 2 IMHO. And controller is absolutely recommended, but I've seen skilled keyboard players doing very well in this game too.

It is a solo game. Multiplayer is 100% optional and the game isn't really balanced around it anyway. Just like the second one if you're looking for a point of comparison.
