Rainstorm harder than Monsoon?

I've done some runs on both difficulties haven't played drizzle at all, but I swear I take significantly more damage from enemies in rainstorm difficulty. only made it to stage 2 on rainstorm and made to stage 3 on multiple Monsoon runs. I'm not that good at the game but just feels weird.

on monsoon there are these little shadow elites that have insane amounts of health and dish out tons of damage. monsoon is really hard once you get deeper than 3 levels. as for rainstorm being harder idk man, sounds like you either are eating ♥♥♥♥ or getting wildly unlucky, monsoon is hard af.

Seems like Rainstorm has buggy behavior of spawning twice the amount of enemies than Monsoon + enemy damage scale is off. Just try out them side by side in 10 runs to tell the difference.

You're not alone, Monsoon feels easier, especially in enemies hp.
Can't say anything about damage tho, Ror was always known to either hit you with a breeze or drop kick you in a second. (Unless you had infusion hp with some defensive stuff)
