Couple item unlocks?
Where & how if you know please, i been playing relentlessly and been holding down/up while exploring and checking/exploding walls everywhere and mashing interact with all decor and still having no luck.

#1 Find the illegal shipment. I did interact with a container on the final stage but inside was some red eyes, do i have to rush to this stage before 10/20 mins like in ror2?

#2 The next entry after is finding this item hidden somewhere in the world, again been exploring hard and not finding anything.

#3 Drown 20 whorls, im not sure how, i guess i need knockback and low dps?

Engineer's mines (the second option) are really good knockback tools for the whorls, not that I've managed to do it myself. Otherwise its focusing on the boxing glove or playing someone like HAN-D who has knockback options, Enforcer can probably manage it as well.
Don't know anything about the illegal shipment, don't remember if it was in the first game either. what I can say is that there was very few timed challenges in the first game relative to the second.

Which enemy are the whorls anyway?

I think the best knockback for the job should be Sniper's second primary, the rifle whack. It's extremely low damage and the knockback is pretty big.

1. Illegal shipment is on the final stage, in the storage room that you need a keycard to access one of the chests in the background can be interacted with to gain the item and achievement

2. The hidden item is located in the desolate forest variant 4, you need to find a hidden wall in the upper middle of the stage

3. Just push whorls off the stage in the water level, HAN-D was how I got it in the first game, but there are other options
Two more

#1: Commando Untouchable, activate the third teleportal without being hurt once?

(note): I looped once, got to the third teleportal a second time with 6 rapid mitosis and the shield generator and even had 20 hermits scarfs, i was permanently invulnerable and still didnt get it)

#2 Miner Hot Streak, reach level 10 without getting hurt more then once.

(seriously is that as ♥♥♥♥♥♥ as it sounds, are we supposed to somehow go from lv1 to 10 without being hit more then once the whole time, or is it just lv9 to 10, or is it stage 10?)

For those 2, my suggestion is play on Drizzle, with Glass, Command, Sacrifice, and Kin. Also, adjust your damage dealt to 200%.

With Kin, look for Golems or Sand Crabs for the first stage. They're slow, easy to hit, and can't use ropes or jump. If you don't start with either one, just quit and start another run until you do.

If you have the alternate primary attack unlocked for Miner, use that. And just stay on the first stage. Golems and Sand Crabs drop a good amount of experience, so it won't take long at all to hit level 10 without getting hit.

Oh, also, for the Commando one, you have to do it without looping. So stack Hermit's Scarves with Command from the start. Don't move on to the next stage until you have enough scarves. Also, Hopoo Feathers for helping avoid fall damage.

That is pretty damn smart. I could of thought of that eventually i guess, just stressed irl.

Okay, i got some farming to do, thanks for sound advice.

No problem. I was daunted by those 2 challenges at first, but using those strats make them manageable.

Though the Commando one was still stressful as all hell. You really need to keep an eye out for elites and burst them down ASAP. Especially volatile and overloading ones. Best to play safe even after stacking a ton of scarves, since I'm not sure you actually can reach a full 100% dodge chance with them.

Oh i dont think ill stack scarves, probably even split mocha and soldier syringe, greens on atg and reds on wicked wand and then alien heads.

id reccomend one cape since it intercepts hits when its ready to trigger
crossing blades Nov 15, 2023 @ 1:32am
cape can also block fall damage so if you know it's gonna save you, you can jump off a ledge to save time
Drunken Duck Nov 15, 2023 @ 2:02am
i also think people underestimate artifact of kin, for exapmle rolling golem or crab on stage 1 can easily be the key to miner lvl 10 achievement, since you can dodge those guys easily and you are only left to farm

Grabbing a stopwatch can also help massively when trying to do 'no damage' challenges. Lets you take down some of the nastier elite variations with less hassle

Ive had a few loong games of command sacrifice to get the 25 stage, 3k kills, 300 item unlocks for a few characters, mostly because the trials are annoying, im not a fan of timed restrictions.

In those long runs, i usually attempt at caps badge first for the free items, and i always try to get mitosis reds first, a couple times i found getting 6 mitosis solves the equipment cooldown, so i had stopwatch with 6 mitosis and 4 embryo and i permanently shut down time.
