Please, I beg of you, devs, put the items stats in the tooltip
I am genuinely once again surprised that they havent done this, it's kind of ridiculous that to know how some items stack or what they even do you have to go to the logbook. This was a very common issue people complained about in ROR2 and you still ignored them.

The game's modding scene doesn't look like it's gonna be easy for the community, but I sure hope that it's one of the first mods available.

I usually disagree when people ask for more tooltips, numbers and unnecessary info on the screen because these just polute the screen when you've learned all the info. Personally, I'm totally fine with going to the log book and memorize what each item do

It's a tooltip. For when you hover over it. It's not something that will pollute the screen.

This is what options are for. A simple toggle in the menus will let everyone choose what they prefer.

you know... It was never there for RoR 1 and 2, why bother?

Implementing a small mechanic to see what your items are currently doing is not worth bothering for?
You mean more content, more info, more details... is a bad thing?

There are plenty of items in the game you have no idea what they do, or how they behave stacking. Some people actually wanna see what 12 Topaz's would do stat wise, without having to remember 100+ item stats from the main menu, and somehow calculate that mid run.

Both of the previous games had that exact mod to get rid of that unnecessary, inconvenient lack of a simple stat % or number when hovering over a item in your inventory.

Yall really need to stop crying about more content, options, choices, and mechanics that people suggest. Instead of complain, add more suggestions to it. Make it an artifact. Make it accessibility in the options. Its such a small detail that majority of those who don't want it, will never even see it.
The more mechanics, content, options, and choices we get for this game, the wider the audience, the better the game does, and the more people who'll have a play style or difficulty fit for themselves.

This aint ranked Apex. This isnt Competitive CSGO. Its a singleplayer/coop platformer for christ sakes. The only person you're hurting by using ANY of those options or items or artifacts, is yourself and the people you play with. You have full access to turning things on, or off.
You're the type of person that make devs disinterested in further developing games. Complaining and adding nothing to the conversation or suggestions to further improve the game.

Disappointing community.

I agree with the addition of the stats. It REALLY doesn't harm the game. There's no reason not to add the option. Otherwise someone's going to have to mod it in, and since it just came out it probably won't have modding tools for a little while. Or longer depending on how moddable the current engine is.

I hope the modding for this game is easy, sorta annoying that I need to remember what my items are doing then to now what each stack does mid game

I did a little searching in the discussions. There IS planned mod support in the future(see here https://imgur.com/a/U3iYJGl) but they have compiled the game with yoyo compiler in gamemaker, which will make modding the game difficult as you have to apparently go through hoops to make it work.

I would definitely prefer that, especially since a bunch of the %s have changed from ROR1 so my previous builds need tweaking but I can never recall how much exactly.

Because everyone I know who plays those games has a wiki open so they can look up the item, requiring tabbing out of the game. It's basic QoL at that point just to have them there in game instead.

I know it wasn't, but I like knowing how some items stack on the go and sometimes I forget very easily because I am not a numbers person, I struggle immensely with math and ItemStats mod in ROR2 was a godsend for people like me.

The thing that bothers me the most about it is that the numbers are there IN THE GAME in the logbook, there's really nothing stopping them from adding an option that's like "Enable advanced tooltip information" for people who want to see the exact numbers in-game
