Can we PLEASE have a little bit more lenience on the sniper backflip providence kill

One of snipers skills is locked behind the challenge of "kill providence mid backflip". the problem is that if you time it off by even half a second you don't get the achievement and you have to do a whole 40 min run just to try again! I hope this gets changed quickly because I just did 4 runs in a row with no luck.

honestly i read that and i thought it was an insane requirement... it should get an alternate unlock option like some of the other survivor skills

I don't even know how you do it, how can you kill something while backflipping? Requires a dot or multiplayer, right? And also requires knowledge of when providence actually dies?

i haven't tried it yet, but would it be possible to use the Stationary Railgun to try to get this? I'm gonna try it when i get off of work later today. AFAIK, you can still interact with items while mid-backflip, and the railgun fires instantly. It's the last Sniper challenge i need to get (btw sniper my fav class).

Also might be ideal to enter the fight with no combat drones, in-case they accidentally kill the boss while at low health.

I think you gotta use an equipment like the jar of thquibs or something and just pray you get the timing right....which is real hard when 90% of the fight is providence teleporting to your exact location giving you no time to actually perform the backflip before the thquibs it.

That might work, I'll give it a shot.

EDIT: final phase providence takes no damage from a railgun shot...fun.

PoST EDIT EDIT: managed to get it anyway off a stray ATG shot! Wow this needs to be better.

Yea Sniper is one of my fav characters in the first game but this sucks to get still havnt gotten it

Got it on my first try; all you need to do is kill any of Providence's phases while doing a backflip. I used the saw equipment to do it, its basically like captains unlock for ror2.

Oh you can do it on any phase? well I wish they'd said that in the description I was lining everything up on the final phase and then restarting once I failed.
