RoR1 Soundtrack
My brother and I both radically prefer the original soundtrack. The original was clean and beautiful. The "remaster" sounds like a dubstep remix. No shade to Chris Chris, lots of people like dubstep, but we would much rather have the OG music if that's possible.

I'd prefer an option to use the RoR1 soundtrack in the game itself, but assuming that path is out, does anybody know how you'd have to mod the game to put the originals in?

are you talking about the main menu music? 95% of the soundtrack IS the original with like 3 extra new songs in the game

I only just bought the game and can't fire it up until I get home tonight. I'm basing this off of the music posted to the composer's youtube. There's the original music and the "remastered" music. I presumed the "remastered" music is what is in RoRR and, again no shade to Chris Chris, the "remasters" are just not to my taste the way the originals were.

the remastered music is the original songs just brought up to higher quality! most people probably won't even hear the difference.

The remaster does indeed change much of the OST. It's a bit disappointing that the game lost its darker gloomier feel in the remake both in visual and sound design but eh it's alright. if I want that vibe I can just go play classic.
visually i would agree it's lost its dark gloomy tone but like i said earlier a majority of the music is the same. realistically the only thing replaced is the main menu.

Chris even states this on the remastered songs on Youtube!

I really love the soundtrack of the first game, especially the main menu theme. I knew that the soundtrack would be remade and sound a little different, just like Chris Christodoulou wanted. But I really miss the ability to switch the music to the classic version in the settings.

I'm enjoying the remaster's sound track. I was a bit let down with the sound track of RoR2 when compared to RoR1, so even if some changes have been made to the remaster's sound track, it's still hitting the spot better for me then RoR2's sound track.
