Strange Battery

Does anyone know what the strange battery is for it is equipment that does one tesla shock and says bzzt seems to unlock something?

That is yet another chest, not the one you place an equipment into. At least, it's been there even before i put anything into the chest below the ship.

Update: The chest below the stage allows you to teleport an equipment of your choice to the next run. You'll usually find it in the 2nd stage, and it's the very obvious chest with 6 red lines. Unrelated to the battery itself.

And yes, the chest you teleport to the bridge for a random equipment is different from the one that teleports to a future run.

So no need to loop, just go to the last stage, put the battery in and then get it for the next run, interesting

At the final level you can find secret room where robots dance, and there gonna be one secret way to another room where you can find chest wich can be activated by battery, and after that chest with battery disappear and nothing happens.

The skin is always there, just needs the right number of Jumps or Low Gravity items. The same applies to the 7k chest behind a solid pillar, seemingly unreachable - there's a hidden opening in the ceiling below, between the two taller "pillars".

Found a random chest on a level that said retrieve equipment so and it was the equpiment i placed in the chest below the level so guessing that chest send any equipment to another run

So many articles are stealing speculative information from this thread, so if you don't know, or speculate what it does, don't post. Only post info you know what's true, or you have done successful tests for what it doesn't do with proof/screenshots.

You can use it to unlock the 16th survivor, Robomando, to unlock him you need to find the battery on stage 5 (edit: apparently you need to be on drizzle to get the battery), then use the chest you find on the last stage next to the dancing golems to take it to the next run.
After that you need to start a new run on rainstorm or monsoon, right now there's a bug related to unlocking the survivor and providence's cape so don't pick up that item for this run or your game is gonna end up crashing in stage 4 when you use the battery.
The chest with the battery will spawn on the second stage, it's really easy to identify it. You need to pick up the battery and carry it for the rest of the run.
When you reach stage 3, you'll need to wait until minute 22 to use the teleporter to travel to stage 4, you can start the teleporter even before that, but you can't leave the stage until minute 22.

This. I've pressed a on every urn, and attacked every urn; doing so multiple times on different loops, runs, and variations of the same stupid stage and nothing happens. Is there some kind of trigger for it to show up?

in sky meadow, there is secret passage in bottom left, there will be some kind of drone that need "1 battery" to activate

You need to be on drizzle, then on stage 5 there's a vase that allows you to interact with it and get the battery, those vases usually are on the edges of the map (it will be on the right or left depending on which variant are you playing)

Reproduced this, but crashed fighting it lol. No unlock... guess I have to do two more runs.
