Lost game sound

I paused the game mid run and alt+tabbed for smt like 20 minutes, now when I got back to the game the audio is completely gone.

Edit: I'm using dual monitors, I think this could be related to the "mute game when unfocused" option

I'm having a similar issue as well, I have three monitors and I only had audio for the beginning cinematic.

Same issue.
Two monitors, "Mute game when unfocused" option enabled.
However, I switched my audio device while the game was minimized.
I thought this might have been the reason.

Posting just to say same issue, alt-tabbing long enough kills all audio.

Me too, Afk-ing for several minutes turns off my monitor, wich causes the same sound mute.

There seems to be an issue with audio cutting out when switching audio devices. Fwiw I have 2 monitors as well.

Can we get a solution for this or at least have this addressed by the devs? This is a really annoying problem and ruins the joy in a run just because I had to go take a poop or something. Heaven forbid we want to enjoy the game after pausing a run -___-

Same here. If I pause the game, and then the monitor turnoff, when I come back there is no sound in the game. I disable the option "Mute game when unfocused" and "pause game when unfocused".

seems to be a recurrent bug, is there any way to mention a developer here? or officially report this bug?

same thing has been constantly happening to me, if i alt-tab for too long or i AFK/my monitor turns off, the sound is killed and there's no apparent way for me to get it back without restarting the game entirely :<
