1. Is Tempestfall a VR-only game?

That’s right - VR only. Tempestfall is based on fluid movement mechanics that cannot be mapped with a mouse and keyboard or a console controller.


2. When will it be released?

The current release date is planned for summer 2021. More details coming soon!


3. Will the game be compatible with Oculus Quest 2, PS VR, or any other headset?

We plan to release the game on PC VR and Oculus Quest 2 in the first order. Other platforms remain a future possibility!

That being said, we want Tempestfall to be playable on as many headsets and platforms as possible. We are aware players use all kinds of headset and controller combinations - we will do our best to cover the biggest range possible.


4. Is my PC strong enough to run the game?

Soon we’ll provide this information on our Steam store page in the SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS section. In general, we aim for Tempestfall to be comfortably playable on all VR-ready PC specs.


5. Does Tempestfall require a lot of free movement space to play?

Tempestfall is an action-adventure game with gesture-based combat. You will need some space to swing, raise and block with your weapons. The required space to play will be comparable to other games of this type.

The game features a full range of comfort settings and customizable locomotion (teleport only / free movement / mixed, snap turning / smooth turning, vignette strength, etc. All the good stuff)


6. Is Tempestfall a single-player game? What about a multiplayer mode?

Tempestfall will launch as a single-player only game, but who knows what the future holds? Soon, our previous title The Wizards - Dark Times will be enriched with co-op multiplayer. Once we take this first step in multiplayer, we’ll consider further development of Tempestfall in this regard.


7. How do I join the Carbon Studio community?
