Glitch - unable to nod/shake

Sometimes I am unable to nod/shake Alba's head for a while when prompted to. Anybody else found this? Anybody know a fix? It seems to occur randomly for me.

This happens regularly to me as well. Letting go of the left stick and leaving it in neutral for a second or so seems to fix the problem. I think the bug triggers if you're holding the left stick in a direction when the nod/shake interaction begins.
I hope the devs can find a better fix for this.
