Which kessen assuming the first one/third? Gameplay wise they are different. You can go on youtube and find videos to see if battles are something you would be interested in. As a fan of kessen I think hit personally, the game covers nobunagas raise and fall, covers sekighara and this game dose not play like the 3 games, but if you talking about kessen one it dose have a sekigahara and osaka scenario ( there is the historcal route and ficinical options)

The game does not play like Kessen so don't expect that, it is not 3D like battle, more like overhead strategy battle. Kessen 3 is more similar to Dynasty Warriors. However, the event in this game is good and if you like to play the event and follow the life of these character, then this game is very enjoyable.
