Managing domains when lacking officers

Just started playing as the Date, went on a conquering spree but now, I have too many castles and not enough officers to assign around.

What advices would you give to manage your domains when you do not have enough officers to place as substitutes/land owners?

Eventually you will be able to give your lords extra domains to manage to help make up for the lack of officers.

To attract more put one officer aside preferable your highest int and try to use rumour and extract found under the covert options after selecting military on an enemy castle or wait for the employ (distant employ) suggestion.

Are you station them or give them dominion in other castle or only concentrate on your own castle?
If conquering other clan, that's should give you enough office unless you execute them all. The Date have a decent amount of officer to assign around.
If other castle other than your own, assign at least 1. Unless it is a defensive base which you want build it up. Also, when officer level up, they can be giving more domain.

What do you mean, when they level up they can be given more domain? Isn't it one domain per retainer only?

If you go to Council -> Honor commendation -> Clan Classification -> Look to the right or Click Details if more than 7 show up on the list. Anyone who going to be Senior Ranking above, you can give them more domain or the option will popup once they rank up (enough honor acquired).

Speaking of main base... how do I change main base (example, Nobunaga from Kiyosu to Gifu Castle)?

Yes, prioritize main base first as it is easily build up. To move main base to other castle, you will need 10,000 gold, it will have the option once you have enough money. It's in the council option (right click anywhere on the map, not the castle and it will pop up the option for council).
Yes, assign at least one land holder so they can at least develop the land in other base. You can also request them to develop which cost money , 1000 each times.

priority on training officer with 80+ int in ur home castle, if not having any, get 70+ int officer trained

dont assign 70+ int officer to other castle too early. keep them trained to 1500exp(min to be castlelord)

Research gunji system, so empty domains develop on their own.
