Need help with Game
I have been playing Nobunaga since kid. However, from SOI onwards, i get very confused with the game flow. So much so I do not know what I am doing. I do not know if it is their english translation or my brain not working. I have spend 3hrs on Awakening and I have yet to grasp overall flow of the game.

My last NA that I enjoyed very very much was Iron Triangle.

Can you anyone provide some guide? or link me to some place with decent guide? The game tutorial is..too confusing for me.

Many thanks in advance.

Yeah, like RedWarrior put it in video but it's some basic stuff to get you not being wipe out in year 1. I do find this game, you cannot be wipe in year 1 but onward, you will be wipe out unlike SOI. Sum up from the video, and I can make some guide once I get a little hang of it. This game took some learning compare to previous title, and their Manual is crap :), I am sorry KOEITECMO but I have create better guide in your non-english patch game for NA before.
1. Diplomacy, use it, even if you general are crap, they still bring it to some point. Point is to bring it to 60, then make Alliance. From there, it take less time to bring their trust up to 100. Use it for bigger neighbor but not somebody who you want to attack later. Weirdness in this game is if you ally with somebody, most daimyo will hate you so considering who you want to choose as ally, also. Once you have alliance, they will contribute money income for you also.
2. Develop is cheap, use it first hand before upgrade some castle facilities so you get money income and rice supplies.
3. Don't just start to battle anybody, look at who their ally is, even if they look small but they have many allies behind them. it's bad, like attacking the Shogun.
4. Set troop out in multiple unit instead of one unit, the more unit the better (8 total in a battle field). The point is to get them in a pincer (attack from multiple front), it caused their attack and defense to go down. Even Nobunaga with his high abilities, if got caught between 3 attacker who had less power than him, he will lose. Example: Nobunaga got 5000 as a single unit, you have 3 unit total 1000 each. You can easily win against him as you can do pincer attack, or if you have the tactic, confused is the best.
5. Once you controlled the land of tribe by assigning someone. Over time, you can control and ask for reinforcement or ask them to attack, use it.
6. Siege castle cannot be accomplished by just activate reform policy. You need to have enough troops to force it into siege mode, otherwise, its a little useless. It show on the castle screen.
7. It's better to retreat back even if it look like victory is almost there and regroup then to force yourself into the enemy land to get trap and wipe out. This is not SOI where the troop will spawn back up, it take time for it to regenerate.
8. Supplies, supplies, supplies is important. It will use up supplies like no tomorrow so build up your land or activate policy to use less supplies. These new soldier are hungry pigs.
9. Set speed to 2x or 1x if near battle for manual command or else, it seem they move quicker than you assign task to them because of clumpy UI. In real time battle, you assign unit or they automatic advance, if you want to change their direction, click unit, hold Shift and click each location and end it with Control as last point of contact. Make sure to click retract order, or else, they will continue to advance their first order before following your recently assign order. This is useful for faking an attack and retreat, where you don't want them to making the contact with enemy yet.
10. If there is an option to recruit Ronin, please do, but pick the one usable for your clan, and negotiate if you have to, failure to meeting their promise, and they will leave you after a year. It's hard to get new good ronin in this game unless you attack and capture them with low loyalty.

set your front line castles to defensive mode, attack from behind your defensive areas

use goodwill for big clans that you don't want to mess with

If you clock the gear wheel in the top-right of the screen, and click manual, it'll take you to a webpage. There you will find a section titled "Game Flow". Should be exactly what you're looking for. The game does a good job at explaining a lot of things, but there's also a lot of pretty important info that is literally never explained, and you just gotta learn through trial and error. However, to get going, the game flow section should get you moving a long with a sense of purpose and intent.

prepared defensive castle in frontline will save u,

but you still need to have some good castlelord to save u front ninja attack.

most of the famous clan (shimazu, chosokabe, mori, oda etc) do have good officer u can use,

some small clan do have some good one at certain year start like ryuzoji mogami satake

Ironically depending on the clan and period you are playing it is better to stay defensive one thing this game does much better than others in the franchise is rewarding patient players
For example the Date Clan in the first period of the game:

You are at war against another Date clan led by your father

Both have a lot of allies (You have 6 allies and he has 4)

The power of both are similar (but his father has much more prestige in the imperial court which is a problem because he can make people like him more easily)

And both have little character.

Most people think "Let's go to war!!!" congratulations you just lost the game! that's because even if you get some advantage both Date clans got weak and someone will kick your ass and your father's and eliminate them.

Simply stay in your main base developing it and try to get an alliance with Nagao (by marrying his sister)

From your second base to your father (ironically he won't attack you if you get defensive) and let him attack the other clans nearby.

It doesn't take long before the Shogun loses patience with the war between you two and intervenes by triggering a date clan unification event and thus you get all your father's territories and characters.

Now just sit there developing your territories and diplomacy and increasing your influence with the imperial court and with the shogun this will increase your prestige and you will be able to force smaller clans to become vassals.

If you do everything right, the entire northern region will be under his influence and that way you will manage to survive the powerful Hõjõ who will be wanting to invade your region.

Good Wars :D

Don't forget to do diplomacy for request reinforcements. Saved my bacon more than once. Massive wars down to 100 men left fighting, but our clan survived.

True. Also, marriage alliance doesn't required trust defense reinforcement but regular alliance does so it would need to raise 40 trust to request defense. The worst thing that can happen is to submit to become their vassal if they have way too many troops than you. Imagining you hear they invade your province with 100K troops, and here you are with barely 10K, and your allies have max of 30K, yet they only send 10K for help.

Still kind of frustrating when you develop a set of castles and you have a predicted troop total of about 80k and then you set out to attack someone without an ally and they have 190k.
