Would Like a Hint if Possible *Spoilers*

Went through the game a couple of times and got the endings where Mallory jumps off the building, protag falls into a ravine, car crash, and the chapter 1 ending

I've tried a wide range of different choices and haven't been able to get any other endings so far. I assume there has to be a happy ending somewhere, so I was wondering if I could get a hint on what choice matters for a happy ending.

In general the choices I've made are:


1. Checking outside when there's noise
2. Letting Mallory stay
3. Don't get angry at the potato incident
4. Leave the trap where it is (I've tried moving it too)
5. Be honest about the chickens
6. Read both of the first two spam emails
7. Ask about favorite memory / hopes for the future (tried both)
8. Accept Mallory's feelings
9. Read the last spam email / also forgoing it
10. Chose both highway and forest options.

As far as I can tell, the only options that have made a difference for me are the trap position and the highway/forest choice. If I don't move the trap, apparently the protag dies, if I move the trap, Mallory jumps.

Any thoughts on a crucial choice that I'm not making properly for a happier ending would be nice. Thanks in advance!

I'm also currently having problems with this.
I tired making a guide, but I'm currently kind of stuck with it.
I currently have the ending without Mallory, the ending with the crazy car lady, the ending with the protagonist going MIA, and two endings with Mallory ending up gone.

I tried getting "close" to Mallory, but that only seems to get me the same results

I haven't gotten the "jump" ending. Only Cat Earth, Ravine, and saving her from falling off the building. I haven't found a happy ending yet.

Ahhh I don't know if I should give hints yet >.< but I wanted to say sorry there are so many sad endings. I'm a sucker for tragic anime, and this story definitely channels some of that. I will say that number 4 and 7 from your list are good places to start... Gotta use those save slots!

I think I did FINALLY figure things out. Spoilers obviously are below:


1. Absolutely have to move the trap.
2. Ask about favorite memory.
3. Read the last spam email about the cure.
4. Head to the Highway.
5. Insist on finding Mallory.
6. Type in the correct phone number.

Took a bit longer than I expected to be sure, but it was a good overall experience! Definitely leaving a positive review.

I did all these exact choices, but to no avail, i was still killed in a car crash when attempting to take the high way route, so there is still a choice(s) in between that has to be chosen specifically to move on. i could complete steps 1-4 but i still have yet to do 5-6

Hmm, the trap choice is the only one that, afaik, determines whether you get the car crash/ravine endings or the ones in which you end up in the city, which potentially leads to the happy ending. The memory/future one determines if you know where to find her.

At any rate, the Guide Section now has a guide that provides the correct choices.

Did you read the spam email about the cure? I think you have to do that and get the phone afterwards.

I've gotten all of the endings EXCEPT the "get treatment like you promised" one. What you absolutely HAVE to do to get the happy ending is to
1. Move the trap
2. Ask about her favorite memory
3. (IMPORTANT) READ THE SPAM WHEN YOU WAKE UP IN THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT!! It gives you hope that there's a cure!
4. Take the highway (you can also take the forest route, but you need to end up at the hospital either way FIRST)
5. Say you need to find Mallory first (when you talk to the medical person), and then zoom off to find Mallory. Once you:
6. Remember the phone number, then you're led to the happy ending. :)

You don't absolutely have to move the trap to get the happy ending, it just makes things a lot less complicated.

try this......move the trap,skipping all of the spams, then work your way through the woods, from there, dont go to the hospital, go to mallory. this is for the jump ending.

Love seeing you all figuring out the steps! That's so awesome. Question - would it have been easier if we had more save slots? We're looking at doing some UI improvements today and wondered if maybe we should add a 2nd page for saves...

yesssss more save slots!!! it would make the visual novel more simple. Besides just having to Have that grindy feel of having to reset all over again or having to reset from previous saves that IMO, would result in the same outcome of the story forcing you to restart. which is counter-intuative since not only do we have to restart, but we have to tap the space bar millions of times to HOPEFULLY get a different ending...aheM... AUTO SKIP.
