Also, will there be proper animal husbandry or at least some pets?
Where do you get your infos from? There is a sh*t load of updates. I purchased it back when EA released and compared to earlier it has a hell of a progression.
I just wait for it to finish before I really dive into it.
I think it's worth clarifying that we've actually released 31 patches and 7 major updates since EA release, with 2 of the updates each being more work than it took to make the entire game we launched into EA. We did go through some quiet months while we were working on a couple of those updates, however, I have been making pretty regular dev posts, update videos, streams, and steam posts with the progress, I'm also active on our Discord and here on Steam forums and reply to dozens of people every day.
We didn't get overwhelmed, there was no cash grab, we are just continuing to work hard to make Len's Island better. The fact we've been able to make it this far and grow the game so much with only 5 developers is honestly astonishing. If it were a cash grab, none of those updates would have happened, I wouldn't have slept at the office every night for a month to get the last update finished, and I wouldn't be here replying to you right now.
We care deeply about the game and the community, our entire lives revolve around continuing to work as hard as we can on it. As Len's Island is what pays our rent, and fulfils our aspirations as game developers. I hope this instils a bit more confidence in you, as we are confident in ourselves to finish our vision :)
To devs: sounds pretty good, it even seems a bit too ambitious doing all of that in about 9 months but of course you know better than us lol Thanks for sharing and being so open about your plans because that's compromising yourselves to all of that work. I wish more studios did the same during their own EA's
