How To craft Life Potion and Flash Potion?

My understanding is you need to upgrade your workbench to lv4 and then you can craft alchemy table. You need powder converted from light stones as one of the ingredient. but light stones are extremely rare.... I haven't seen any.....

Lightstone: Epic pickaxe in end of desert dungeons OR desert island quarry that requires Olive Oil and it has rare chance for light stone.

You grind it up into dust and you need 10 dust pieces for 1 potion + 10 glass + ingredient

I dont understand potions, they are extremely pricey...

On the Alchemy Table and you need for fuel Dark Essence

I haven't seen lightstone either. I've been all the way to the lava portion of the desert cave...it's tough with the hardened steel and ancient shield, especially when you have to keep switching out the shield for your light source. But that really makes things difficult....you can't upgrade the town because you have to have the bigger (500) backpack and you can't get the backpack without the potions. And who knows how I get the epic gear.....this all seems a bit complicated to advance in the game much.

My first 5 lightstones were from Quarry on desert island. I fed it Olive Oil and it randomly generates loot up to rarest Lightstone.

I used those for flasks.

But at same time I already had enough material for Epic Pickaxe to mine lightstone in Desert dungeons.

Found a lightstone node in desert dungeon top of the map deep in the dungeon protected by spawning lightning bugs GOOD LUCK!

Yes, it is present in all 3 dungeons needed to unlock big one. they are always in lava area with electric eels.

Lightstones can be fished up in the starter cave dungeons if they have a pond.

the lightstone nodes can be damaged by the electrical attacks of the "eel"-looking baddies. That's how I got 6 and powered up the mining quarry in the desert... which has found more lightstone

I'm seeing only 3 dust needed for a potion. You get 3 from each lightstone when you grind it.

Flash Potion: 3 dust, 10 glass, 5 blueberries
Life potion: 3 dust, 10 glass, 5 roses
Cursed potion: 3 dust, 10 glass, 5 grapes

Alchemy Table Recipes:

Life Flask (Heals 35) = 9 Dark Essence (fuel) + 5 Roses + 1 Lightstone Dust + 5 Glass

Life Potion (Heals 120) = 9 Dark Essence (fuel) + 3 Life Flasks

Regeneration Potion (Regen 10hp for 30 seconds) = 9 Dark Essence (fuel) + 5 Grapes + 3 Lightstone dust + 10 Glass
