Forced Zoom In

I've always hated games where you constantly lose camera control. The behavior of the camera zooming in and changing tilt on it's own after a second or two is infuriating. It's the one mechanic that will guarantee I do not play this game for an extended period of time. It adds no benefit and is a vector for unnecessary frustration.

Please give us a setting to leave the camera as we set it!

They added the option to disable auto zoom!

Today's patch notes mention that this is now configurable.

If it's not configurable, I'd be interested in knowing so I can wait for the fix before my fourth(?) playthrough.

You can now disabled auto zoom in the settings.

Tried it yesterday and the new option works great.

i still feel like i need to zoom out everytime i open a machine go in to entrances goes on and off ship

It's very good to have added the possibility of removing the auto zoom of the camera, but it would be even better if we had more vertical view range. This will allow us to have a greater overall view.
