Watering Mushrooms??
I just learned that I have to water mushrooms underground for them to grow. FYI, I am not a mushroom farmer IRL and I have never intentionally grown one.

However, I do have a fairly strong suspicion though that it does not rain underground and somehow mushrooms grow just fine without it. Probably something to do with water tables and humidity.

Maybe add a special mushroom planter that does not require water? Similar to the trellis for the grapes.

It does not rain, but mushrooms require high humidity. Where have you seen lakes in the caves? XD

I built a well and a water tower underground. When I harvest my mushrooms I just check to see if the tower needs to be topped up from the well.

I am about 50% done exploring the underground. I found one large lake with a waterfall and river around the top corner of the map. There were unique fish to catch there. I also found a small lake by a cave exit around the east corner. There may be more, or maybe it is a set amount. The underground seems to be randomly generated each game. Overall it does appear fairly dry. I really hope for more unique locations and biome diversity in future updates.

I did some reading about mushrooms: No watering required if humidity is high (usual case in most caves). Manual watering required if humidity is low. However, if we assume the later, then there is no reason to not be able to grow them above ground with manual watering.
