Wheat seeds can purchased from the Farmer's Market, by moving in Martinel.
Oil can be acquired by refining olives in the refinery.
Potions can be crafted at an alchemy table. They require darkness, glass, light stone dust, and grapes/roses/blueberries depending on what you want to make.
There are no meat or poisons. Fish can be caught and cooked on a campfire.
If you can stock up enough food, any boss should be possible to beat since you can eat a near-endless supply of food to heal you in the middle of the fight.
You can get wheat seeds from the farmer's market in town (assuming you've got a level 2 town and moved people in).
Olive oil is from olive trees found in Mediterranean biomes (which you can chop down and collect the seeds). A refinery can make flour and olive oil from wheat and olives. Olive oil is incredibly useful so make a lot of it.
Alchemy table to make potions. Fireplace to make recipes. Check out the recipe guide in the "Guides" section.
i don't find any wheat on any island so i get it from the farmer
only one winerebe found, but no seat. should i use them to make any progress in game?
but still i don't find olive. where are these medierannean biomes? i searched on any island. i go so far as i can. if you reach the card limit you will be stopped by the game.
my town is level 2 and i have to raise it up. but i need a new bagpack.
therefore i have to make life potion and flash potion.
hm....
Look for the islands where it looks like 'fall' weather; birch trees and the colors of a light green/yellow/orange/red, etc. There will be shorter stout trees with many branches that look different from the birch, that's how I got my olive seeds!
I dont think that is possible to say since the map is different for every new game. You will have to explore.
The world map isn't different with every new game. Iv started 3 different worlds to experiment with this.
The 3 caves are all in the same spot. Where u start is the same every time. Fisherman's market is also in the same spot. He's always on the east shoreline kinda by where the mining out post is.
2nd cave is always go east on starting island. Get in boat head east a bit then go north. The 3 small caves iv to unlock 2nd caves door are all in the same spot. 1st cave is always south from town on starting island. The 2-3 small dungeons to unlock 1st caves door. There locations are the same every time
Iv also noticed these dungeons are all layed out the same. As well as the islands apper to always be the same shape and in the same spot in the world.
Want to find the deserts just go west from the starting island and u will find it.
Am I missing something. What's actually being procedurally generated in a new world?
May even test this out again by creating 3 more worlds just for some testing. But right now it seems like the world is just static.
i started in the middle of a map. on these island is bridgewater. this is a town you need to update. the first level ups are hard because you need better weapons and tools. very soon you need a boat to travel from island 2 island. you have to fight. but if you balance your level up between farming and fighting hour 2 hour the speed you level up raises.
it's a good idea to farm a lot different plants. if you harvest you also level up.
ok, my map discription (north is on top of the map, west on the left side, and so on)
on the left side there is a second dungeon on an island near to the starting island. you have to travel (no ship needed) to the nearest islands to open the gate to the first man dungeon on the starting island. but beware... you need some level ups to fight the first higher mob.
you need to level up to upgrade the town. but to upgrade the town you need a backpack update. at last you need a backpack which carries 500 units of any object.
so you have to harvest minerals you won't find on the starting island.
it's a good idea to build housing on each island you find a cave or mobs. if you first step in these housing and make them to your favorite house death isn't a big fail.
oh yes... everything you can harvest or kill will after a few minutes respawn.
ok, the islands:
go to north and you find desert islands. mobs very hard. go to the far west and you also find desert islands, also you find an island with hardwood, you need in the middle of the game. on the east are also islands with caves and some ruins you can destroy.
in the south there is also a desert island, the magic island and the very hard final mob. if you can't open a dungeon the map makes a cicle you have to travel. on this islands with the cicle you have to clear the dungeon so you can get to the closes dungeon (it's the same routine as in the starting phase of the game).
actually - without fighting the boss mob, i buy goods to build my home or upgrade my farm.
The islands are always the same, the dungeons too. Only the location of the islands on the map changes. Only a little bit of procedural generation.
If i name my game "xxxxx" it will have a map different from another game named "yyyyy"
If i erase the game "xxxxx" and start a new game called the same it will have the same map.
I got different savegame with different names all have differents island locations.
ah this is what i was not noticing.
as for world names i did use different names. could have been just a bad roll for them. only tryed this with 3 so not really much of a test.
