Stop trees from regrowning + make pathway

Is it possible that we in the future will get an option to stop trees growing on certain areas?
Yes it takes very little time to chop them down, but I would really like an option to stop them from regrowing on certain areas. Perhaps add an option to add a pathway as well.

An option to level out the terrain would be grande as well.

Right now the only way to do so is to build over a stump (or other respawning resource). I hope that helps
