How Difficult?

As an gamer, the number of hours I've logged playing all kinds of games, including of course spy games is... unbelievable. I'm not worried about the difficulty level for myself, but I know someone who is NOT a major gamer, but would just die to play a game like this together with me. Anyone clue me in if this game might be too much for them? I haven't bought it, and would only buy it for a chance to play with them (or them a chance to play - with me).
