Alisa: Developer’s Cut?
I saw the trailers for PlayStation and Switch on YouTube and the game is titled “Alisa: Developer’s Cut” on those platforms. Is there any additional content in those versions that will come to the PC version as a free update, possibly?

I'm hoping we'll get that content as well although from experience in the past, director's cut content is usually locked to whatever console it's released on.

I asked Casper on Discord and here was his reply:

plug and play controls. that's about it
maybe some different on screen tips
other than that, it's quite identical
Awesome, thanks.

Sorry for the questions.... But with the release of the console version will there be updates or fixes for the steam version too???.

Only to me, when I move the character, instead of walking straight, it always tends to move to the right or left in a straight line??? As if while walking or running he went sideways and ended up against the wall (I notice this when I walk along long corridors, that halfway through I have to correct the character's movement)

Someone shared the game's discord in another recent thread. It sounds like the developer is more likely to answer questions there and they are the only one/ones who know the answer about future updates to the game. Generally speaking, indie developers are more likely to update the PC version and keep at parity with console versions (compared to bigger AAA games where they will drop support quickly after a few months), but it sounds like the console version isn't anything beyond what we already have on PC (in terms of features). No idea about updates pertaining to input related issues.

But I didn't understand if only for me the character runs sideways.... Let me explain, if for example I am inside the circus arena and I take one of the corridors, the character does not run in a straight line, but is slightly staggered and it will go towards a wall, if I correct the direction it will always point towards the other wall... I only had this revelation in the Aquatica area when I realized that I was perpetually against the wall of the various corridors and it seemed like we were proceeding in a slalom as if it were a ski race.... I honestly don't understand if it's really like that for me or it's the same for everyone... Because I remember that the" residentevil "didn't correct the trajectory that often, in those games once the character was turned in a direction that ran in a straight line, without moving halfway to the right or left.

Well, I can test this on my PC or Steam Deck and let you know. I just got the game recently and am still getting used to everything. It’s hard for me to answer currently because I play with tank controls turned off, but with the fixed camera angles, controlling Alisa is still pretty different from shot to shot because she’s not always in the same place relative to the walls in any given location of the game. Hope that makes sense, I will still try to answer after playing for longer.

Both this version here on steam and the version on console are both the exact same version, this version here on Steam is also the developers cut 'version' as well. The game says 'Developers Cut' in the main menu on this version on steam. The 'developers cut 'version'' doesnt exist, its just that he made a big update for the game and so he renamed the game 'developers cut'
