1080p pillarbox

I'm not sure if anyone pointed this out, but whenever I set the resolution to 1080, it pillarboxes and cut off much of the interface, compared to any of the other widescreen resolutions. I know this is nearing the end of any updates, but it would be nice if it gets resolved.

I don't fully understand what you mean. the game only runs at 4:3 aspect ratio.
on a widescreen it'll give you black bars on the left and right side with the game view in the center.
if your monitor or pc has a lower resolution than 1080p then it might look weird? I haven't tried.
on Linux the resolution gets stretched out to widescreen.

Well, usually, when I change the resolution, whenever I go to the save screen on the menu, the start and delete texts always get cut off. It also happens on the button config screen, and the selection boxes for things like v-sync gets misaligned downwards on game settings. Just before writing this reply, I thought of starting a new game up to see what else, and sure enough, the inventory screen is messed up, with everything that isn't the background zoomed out from alignment. I kept it on 1050 for much of my playthrough, I'd highly doubt it couldn't handle 1080. I do have screenshots for what I layed out, but I used my Linux distro for taking it, and I have Steam's turned off for a different game. I'm not really sure how or where to put them here.

(I've also noticed the text in the slots in the save menu also gets misaligned, the time however seems fine. Subtitles were also misaligned, not shown onscreen. Finally, probably not worth mentioning methinks, but I did notice an aspect ratio change after the start menu cutscene. Maybe nothing.)

I have the same problem the game is stretched in all resolutions except 1080p when is 4:3 but everything gets missaligned. Oh i see its because i'm in linux is there a way to fix this?

Edit: To anyone wondering how to get it to work go to the settings and change it to use proton.
