clock/safe puzzle still broken

Yeah the hotfix patch notes released today says the numbers resetting was fixed but it's not. I can't open the safe and therefore can't progress.

its doable but difficult to figure out. if the needle doesnt move on a tick it means its 5. and you wanna look at the sheep on the safe to know what to add

so far I have not gotten tick to not move or as you say a 5. but what do you mean by add?

The first part has nothing to do with the sheep, from what I've heard here in forums is that the arms for the clock are inside the safe so the sheep on the wall don't come into play until then, but there is a bug where instead of randomizing the number when you first come to the clock it randomizes over and over repeatedly, making it impossible to progress unless you happen to get the safe combination that it has currently.

TL;DR
You have to beat the boss behind the curtain to get a pulse machine thing please save the game before continuing

` with the pulse machine thing you attach it to the clock to get your code for the sheep box
` there is a chance that you have to +1 to ONE OF THE NUMBERS in the result you get from the pulse to get the right answer to the sheep box
` If the results that you put in don't work, reload the game and do it again to get a new combo that may work.

Unfortunately, the puzzle still doesn't work. I checked the code with pulse meter, tried reloading my save a couple of times, but entering the code still doesn't work.

UPD: Honestly, I ended up just picking the code. It's just 4 slots, 5 characters each. It took me about 5 minutes to scroll through a bunch of combinations until I hit the right one (which indeed was completely different from the ticking).

At worst it shouldn't take more than 20 minutes to check all possible combinations unless you make a mistake. It's silly to have to waste time on something like this, but I'm enjoying the game enough to do that.

I told the developer on Twitter, he is aware about the problem. Let's be patient and hope this time for a fix that will do what it need to do. I'd rather wait longer if necessary than still have a bad fix.

Did this ever get fixed? I put in the code exactly as the pulse meter gives it to me (5542 in my last attempt), however, nothing happened when I entered those numbers into the safe...

This has been fixed for a while now.
It's a difficult puzzle and the code resets if you die between checking the clock and saving.

I'm having the same problem. Ticks say the code is 4433 but it doesn't work. I let the character die the first time I got the puzzle right so I could restart with more health since I knew where I had to go this time but it ended up cucking me instead. lol

Nvm, I'm dumb. The sequence isn't tied to the order you see the ticks when you first press the action button on the clock. It keeps ticking regardless if the player is watching it or not so the sequence you see might not be in the correct order. 4433 could also be 4334, 3344 and 3443. I think the other people who posted here had the same problem lol
