Bolt Lock puzzle is broken

The Bolt Lock after you crawl into the furnace seems to not work correctly. The third slide doesn't move the second one up when you push it up. I think this renders it impossible?

the fact that this is such a esoteric puzzle and you only have a few seconds to figure it out makes it so you have to reload your save over and over to have any tries so its going to take a while for people to figure this one out im stuck here myself

There is a solution if you are experiencing this. The slots don't have to be perfectly aligned to move a nail over so you can "leap frog" the nails forward by jiggling a slot with the nail closest to the right and then moving the left nail into a slot.

It sounds weird to explain, but you basically don't need to push the slots around by moving the nails so they catch each other. I was able to solve the puzzle this way after a few attempts. It definitely cuts things really close, buts its possible

TMAlive, if you try to move the rightmost metal bar up it glides under the middle bar.

I see. I noticed that too for the 3rd bolt. Until it's patched, if you focus on using the middle piece to lower them both down so the second bolt can pass, you should still be good.

This is not a bug this is intended I think. I had the same issue where it was transparent through the middle one but I just used the first bolt to move the middle and third one into the same position and got the second bolt to move the first slide up with them. Its hard to explain but you have to use both bolts to move the slider things and get them both across.

This is the worst, the third thing keeps not working for me, and the run back to the puzzle is so excruciating :/

Yeah the fact its behind a scripted sequence is rough. The cutscene is good its just annoying when its a barrier between you and a puzzle. Gonna give this game a few weeks to accumulate some patches, looking forward to how it turns out!
