To get scores of millions they must have either cheated, or figured out every single trick in the book to maximize damage. Notice how many teams are the same? Maybe they figured something out we have not. I won't discount that as a real possibility.
Magatams geared towards full 3% damage to demons would be of great help, getting a team of supporters to maximize damage, ect. Still, the millions of points for a single team seems almost funny, and the relay is only realistic if they have every single fighter maxed out.
It certainly is an odd one.
So uh first thing, you mentioned relay, relay will only show the last team used, those people in the top have every character and simple math leads the last team to only have 2 people, 2 problems solved in 1 answer right there.
Second, maybe you haven't done any tower, arena, or Taima-Five VR but that is how it works for team cp for those things it is roughly your total divided by 10 or something.
Finally, the score is 1/1000 of the damage you dealt or something like that, you deal 1m you get 1k points. This translates to them dealing upwards of 10b damage across their 12 teams that they are 100% using.
In case you didn't realize you don't have to do all your matches at once in relay and can change set ups in between.
Oh and going back to team cp, maybe it isn't realized but like if you have too much hp and def, you have fake cp when it comes to dps that doesn't mean anything. You just need to survive 1 or 2 minutes, if you have invested more into survival than needed then(EDIT) you aren't min maxed properly and that is why you aren't seeing results.
EDIT: You mention CP here and there, but what is your team? What are their supporters and weapons? You can have SLvl 5 mileage Shisui as your main supporter and you have tons of stats but essentially a dead supporter because she is basically worthless for this mode.
TL:DR Learn what works and use that, even if it doesn't align with what you've been doing.
I wouldnt take the advice of trying to copy the build of other because these are almost all p2w build with limited supports 5/5.
And probably a future update changes the boss type and all the huge investment in magatamas/supporters/weapons goes to the garbage bin.
Its a mode meant to become a new cashflow to milk the weak minded ones who wanna stroke their egos on pixels.
I would rather spend the money in hot taimanin resin figures instead of all that crap who will eventually end service and all data will be gone.
And obviously you provide no proof to your claims, probably because you just want to rage about not doing well.
EDIT: I'm using all the same stuff, at the same levels, source: trust me bro.
Do you think i would waste the time posting screenshots just for you? You arent as important like you believe.
Also, you messed it up badly before showing you spent money in your supposedly "F2P" test account. So all your credibility is gone.
All your advices lead to spending, make it less obvious you are working for them.
We are ignoring most of crit builds and now we have to mixing up hundred of supporters and weapons.
Hell, I can't even sit and wait for auto roll magnatas. So now I will have swapping my supporters too ?
PASS, even the game itself is like a fallout lego.
Was an awesome game. And now, nothing more than another pit attracting idiots with ridiculous big boobs.
It is so hilarious that this is the moment that I see the percentage people are tiresome with the game. Not just any players, but WHALE players. They seems to be on the verge of quitting the game.
My friendlist usually barely lost 1 - 3 players after every sh*tty new contents. But this update got 5 people instant offline for 5 days. LOLL I think the cheaters is keeping the game active.
Lets start betting how long until the devs post end of service. They have gone full speed on monetization since like a year. Every update have been a disgised monetization scheme. They keep bombarding paywalled content more often. And with the excuse of the unecessary "renewals" they found a way to delay the release of new characters but still milk people doing it.
When i joined many years ago, it was a promising game. It had problems, censorship mainly. I waited years but they did nothing to fix that. The gameplay was interesting but the content started to become repetitive pretty fast.
The story is safe boring garbage, after a year of reading the scenes stopped doing it and just focused on getting hearts to get the 50 gems per supporter. I dont care anymore about the story events, is just wasted voice actors and writing.
Im just here to see it burn, since it barely cost me any effort now since y have almost all maxed and we have autoplay characters too.
If i had a timemachine i would have traveled to the past to tell myself skip that game. Gremory and specially Lilith now are trash and dont deserve their own ip.
I feel sorry for any player who is starting now...
Pretty weird that he got triggered when people mentionned cheaters, normaly the gap between whales isn't that crazy so If long time F2P can't even get past 1 million points it's obvious that someone going over 4 million is suspicious.
Fairly sure that If we asked them to record them doing normal mode in total war we will never get a video of that for some odd reasons.
How can I do anything at all when you can't even control the taimanins? It's not "rage" about not doing well but not doing fair. For example I was able to complete arena tower at level 100 after powering up my taimanins, without spending a single cent and without using any cheat (as in arena tower there are also cheaters with low ranked and cp pointed taimanins who are also top ranked in arena or vr or time attack)
I want to take the time to break down the meta setup and why it's good, and I'll use my own non-optimized team as an example.
Shizuru (level 83, ~103k CP)
She is a healer and buffer/debuffer. She should be equipped with Sprout Garden to provide healing for your team and some extra damage to the boss.
Her offensive skills all share a common theme - big defense debuffs. Rose Rondo/Whip Grip/Whip Shot. The latter two are on very short cooldowns to ensure the boss almost always has a debuff on him.
Main Weapon
Moulin Rouge (SLv.5/ +15) for the big (-40% @ 5/5) enemy crit resistance debuff and big (+40% @ 5/5) damage buff for your teammates.
Off Weapon
Viridian Karma Whip (SLv.5/ +12)
Supporters
Spinel (SLv.2) for + 28% ally demon damage (main slot passive)
[Dancer] Shizuru (SLv.1) for increased Moulin Rouge ally buff duration
Lydia (SLv.4) for + damage/+ crit damage
Phantasma
She is also a buffer/debuffer. Her passive -20% defense debuff aura is huge. She should also use Succubus Whispers to buff the damage of your teammates and also deal dot damage to the boss.
Offensive skills include Slasher Horror (+10% damage buff), Clinging Nightmare (fire-and-forget ranged dot damage) and Dream Claw (+ attack speed).
Main Weapon
Mugen Sakuna (Rebellious) (SLv.2/ +12) for the increased damage taken debuff on the boss. (One of your girls should always have a rebellious weapon for this buff. Phantasma gets it in this case because Shizuru and Spinel's weapons are way more powerful.)
Off Weapon
Viridian Karma Sphere (SLv.5/ +12)
Supporters
[Corporate Warrior] Ingrid (SLv.3) for the persistent damage aura (main slot passive) as well as + damage dealt/ - damage taken for demon characters
Suruga (SLv.4) for + crit rate/ + crit damage
Akane (SLv.5) for + damage and a huge +50% crit damage to the boss.
Spinel
She is the primary damage dealer. Her Frenzy passive also buffs your teammates with + damage and + speed, which is huge since the boss spams slows and there isn't room for [Butler] Asagi in these builds.
Offensive skills are Demonic Arm Detonate for big damage and synergy with her weapon.
Piercing Thrust for the damage buff, Crystal Shard burst for another damage buff, and Explosive Crystal Shards for some fire-and-forget damage.
Main Weapon
[Wicked Star] Kane Blade (SLv.1/ +12) from Taima VR. Massive buff to Demonic Arm Detonate, as well as big damage and defense buffs vs demons.
Off Weapon
Viridian Karma Greatsword (SLv.5/ +9)
Supporters
[Blackbeard] Kirara (SLv.5) for a big damage buff and passive self-healing.
Kana (SLv.5) for a stacking damage buff based on how many buffs you have (which will be a lot with this setup)
Arabella (SLv.5) for a big +40% damage bonus vs bosses.
All girls are using a mix of red UR & SR magatamas with +damage vs all enemies. (+ damage vs demons is of course optimal, and even + damage vs bosses is better than what I'm using)
I have +97% damage and +88% HP via the armory, and 640 awakening points. My team CP with this setup is ~31k.
I'm able to get a little over 1 million points, which is nowhere near the top scores but obviously my girls used in this build are far from optimized. If I had Spinel's weapon at SLv.5, that number would probably double. With all the buffs/debuffs in this team comp, I've seen Spinel deal over 27 million damage with her ultimate if it crits, and that's using a SLv.1 weapon with suboptimal magatamas.
I know it's easy to cry "cheaters!!!!" when people get high scores that are seemingly impossible to get, but I don't think the numbers I'm seeing on the leaderboard indicate any egregious cheating.
To really drive home how important team synergy is and how powerful this setup is, I do a lot of arena and my arena team is about ~39k CP, has very optimized characters (in comparison to my Shizuru/Spinal/Phantasma) that are all individually over 123k CP, and pretty regularly places at or around the top 50. That team was barely able to get 400k points vs this boss... (the boss being immune to Oboro's Mind Control doesn't help).
I also tried using Asuka instead of Spinel at first, because my Asuka is way more geared, and that team's best score was about 550k. Even with a comparatively weak Spinel in place of Asuka, my score doubled.
So yes, even if you run the exact same setup as the top scorers, there are many many factors at play as to why your score would be substantially lower. If you're only rocking something like 300 awakening points, don't expect to be even remotely competitive with people who have ~5-year-old accounts and everything maxed out.
As far as making the mode better, my number one complaint is the general badness of the ally AI. It would be nice if we could manually use supporter abilities like in arena. If we could manually trigger ultimates, that would be great too. There's been several times where Shizuru in particular is sitting at max particles for like 10+ seconds and not ulting because shes just spamming her regular abilities. But whatevs. It's basically just eventual free stuff, even if you can't get it as fast as the whales.
