I enjoyed Mega Man Off-line version, but I must admit that I haven't played the grinding part to get everything like an online version, but just cleared it once and unlocked some things.

There is actually a petition for EU to force devs into keeping games in a playable state once they go EoS, sadly it's only half way there and the deadline is on the 31st of July.

Wouldn't expect anything from it. But it would indeed be better. Too many games, especially android, are just pulled off. Same with MMORPG's. All the games from Glu for example don't work anymore, because they shut down the server fot it. Glu has been bought by Electronic Arts, who decided to end all services of Glu.

There is more probability devs going to start using brain and game will not go EOS than they will make it possible to play offline.

I know from TERA yes, I was playing on the NA servers of EnMasse. First krafton shutted EnMasse and you had to transfer to gameforge. And then they shutted the game entirely. Alot of players back then just gathered at the last day first in Velika itself, then we marched to the outskirts of it to to beach area. There fireworks was then launched in the sky. We said goodbye to each other and that was it. It has been 3 years now.
There is indeed some priivate servers. Menma's TERA was first one to fill the gap after closing the official. it was based on the old 2013 version, so without brawler and such. It was later on renamed to MT: Dream, but eventually it shutted down. No idea why. And it wasn't sketchy.
Currently TERA Starscape is one of the private servers still running and there is TERA germany.

Last I checked then menma's tera was still alive, I would know since I'm part of it's dedicated discord server and have heard and seen from the devs multiple times new content like dungeons, costumes and events over the last year alone.

Also if you crave some tera then SONY is keeping it hostage on the playstation store.
